Scott Wood Retirement PartyA Happy Occasion and Good News:

On February 7, 2015, we joined National Forest Service personnel and many other professional or private friends/associates of Scott Wood at his retirement party in Mesa, Az.  Scott was the Tonto National Forest Archaeologist for 40 years and long time archaeologist working with Desert Foothill Chapter.  He has guided us, taught us, and participated with us on many adventures always giving willingly of his time.  The best news is Scott's new position creating "Friend's of the Tonto National Forest" 501-C3 and continuing his association with the AAS Desert Foothills Chapter means that we continue our long association with him.

IMPORTANT NOTE:  Field trips, workshops, classes, and special extended activities are open to AAS members only.  This type of activity often requires a signed AAS-DFC Liability Release Form
